Salterns Way

Took the day off to enjoy the superb March weather. Took the train to Chichester and then cycled the the Salterns Way to East Head near West Wittering. Officially 12 miles each way.

En route I took a detour to the Crown and Anchor at Dell Quay and got a bit lost around Birdham Pool. Got a puncture when I got to West Wittering beach too.

Repaired what was a big hole, had a lovely sun-bathe then found the tyre flat again, without any more patches. Fortunately the guys at X-Train gave me some patches and I got it fixed.

Then cycled back to the Buttercross in Chichester in 59 minutes. Had a very late lunch/afternoon tea at the Swallow Bakery on North Street. Then the train home.
